The story and concepts all look very original and interesting. I haven't any real interest in forking out money for a wii to play this but I'm still keeping an eye on it. For now I'm looking forward to the soundtrack. Shimomura is excellent.

The soundtrack is fecking awesome, Ted.

My interest in Xenoblade has shot up. After spoiling myself on the story and music (many thanks to the Japanese savvy folks out there,) and reading the overwhelmingly positive reviews, I will probably obtain a Wii. It just so happens I'm currently dying for an expansive MMORPGesque play experience (again, with FFXIII providing anything but an 'expansive' experience, it's probably no surprise I'm leaning this way,) and this evidently fits the bill.

My hype level is still relatively low, meaning I won't go out of my way for an import. But an RPG with music this goddamn good can't be all bad... right?

You say that, but I for one know you're reserving your pessimism for when you actually do get your hands on it, and I await the 4 page rant that shall ensue wink.gif

For a Wii game these graphics to look pretty stinkin' nice. I was always weary of getting a Wii just because of the limited library that would be up my alley, but since I've been wanting to play the Mario Galaxy games, I might as well find someone on craigslist getting rid of their system for dirt cheap and go pick this up when it does come out (along with some used copies of Mario Galaxy). I think my reservations can be put on hold for just a little bit.
