Okay, since XGAMers are usually big anime fans, I thought we should put up a little licensed anime/manga topic. Here's how it goes: if you have any information on newly-licensed anime or manga, post them here (including the resource from where you got the info). You may also put comments in here if there's an anime you're anticipating that has showed up here.
Anyway, here are some new licensed anime I read in Animerica magazine!
ADV Films
Full Metal Panic! Fumoffu: The sequel to the hit anime Full Metal Panic! featuring more adventures of Kaname and Sousuke.
Gatchman: Also known in America as Battle of the Planets, this is the first sentai (team) which began The Power Rangers, Sailor Moon, etc.
Peacemaker [Kurogane]: Animated by Studio GONZO, a teenage boy named Tetsunosuke attemps to join a samurai clan to avenge his parents' muders.
FUNimation
Fullmetal Alchemist: SquareEnix and Studio Bones work together to make this anticipated anime.
Geneon (Pioneer)
Burn Up Scramble: More wacky hijinks of Rio and her gang, along with lots of fan service to boot!
Cybuster: Based on the Super Robot Wars video game franchise.
Saiyuki Reloaded: The sequel to the anime Saiyuki continues based on the Chinese folktale "Journey to the West".
Shingetsutsutan Tsukihime: A fantasy tale about a young boy who survies a devistating accident, thus giving him psychic powers that let him see everything's breaking point.
Submarine 707R: An undersea drama made by Blue Submarine No. 6's creator Satoru Ozawa, Zeta Gundam's writer Hiroshi Onogi, and Yamato's desginer Kazutake Miyatake.
Media Blasters
Urda: Third Reich: Operatives Ema and Janet take on the Naizs and their creation: the time altering URDA Project in this full 3D cell shaded anime.
Early Reins: A Western anime that takes place in historical American West, which feature six gun-toting girls.
Actually, FUNimation's dubbing has gotten better since DBZ. I hear the Fruits Basket and Kiddy Grade dubs are quite good.
Anyway, on to more licensed news!

I've watched many anime.
Elfen Lied: A story about an android girl who kills many people and she had a tragic past. This is a wonderful and violent anime.
Kannaduki no Miko :About two girls, Himeko and Chikane are destined to be a solar priestess and lunar priestess. They must destroy the orochi(demons) to bring peace for this world.
| SPOILER |
| But Chikane loves Himeko. So, this is a lesbian anime at all. In the end Himeko and Chikane become couple. |
(Geneon Entertainment)
Appleseed
Japan's first fully-animated feature film. About a world where Bioroids (Robots, essentially) make up 50% of the population. War breaks out, I'm guessing, betweeen the Bioroids and the Humans (The trailer didn't show much), and the main character is in love with a Bioroid, who apparently used to be a human. It looked awesome.
Coming to theaters soon.

me me me! I know one major license that wont be pleasing to most people who were far in the series.....
it's Naruto!!! Licensed by ShoPro Entertainment
Well now that they have the rights, they'll have huge profits on side stuff like toys and games, yeah great move for them onto a great serie(IMO) that would most probably please the average american eye.
Two crappy animes have gotten licensed by Geneon (Pioneer): The first being Girls BRAVO, featuring a girl so destructively violent, she makes Narusegawa Naru from Love Hina look like Ghandi himself.
The second one being DearS, where alien girls (or couse they're girls) want to be the perfect "slave" to their master (namely a boy) in this "Chobits gone 1,000 times wrong" anime.
But luckly, Yoshizumi Wataru's (Marmalade Boy) Ultra Maniac has been licensed by Geneon too!
As for manga liscensing, Viz is bringing out a bundle of new shojo, including SOS, X2, Happy Hustle High, Doubt!, Full Moon wo Sagashite, Fushigi Yugi Genbu Kaiden (a prequel to Fushigi Yugi), Ultra Maniac (the manga that spawned the anime), and Tokyo Boys and Girls.
That's all for now.
